St. George and Southern Utah host many activates and events. Each community has a annual festival and southern Utah has become the host to many races and competitive events. Check these out and come join in the fun.

RED ROCK DESERT RAMPAGE
St. George hosts the Red Rock Desert Rampage. A professional mountain bike race in Utah’s Dixie. The annual event (held in March) is the first race of the NORBA sanctioned Intermountain Cup Region point series. Prizes of cash and merchandise will be awarded. HUNTSMAN WORLD SENIOR GAMES
October in the St. George area. The Huntsman World Senior Games is a very popular competition for thousands of seniors all over the world. The sporting event sponsors worldwide peace, friendship and health. In addition to the many athletic events, the Games host “healthy lifestyle seminars,” spectacular opening and closing ceremonies, receptions, dinners, band concerts and other social activities that encourage the participants to come together socially and educationally. ANNUAL ST. GEORGE ARTS FESTIVAL
Location: 865 Main Street, St. George, Utah. Annual St. George Art Festival is held on Easter Weekend Friday and Saturday. Festivities will begin around 10:00 a.m. and last until 6:00 p.m. The Event is known as the “Friendliest Festival in the West” and hosts a variety of fine art and artists from all over the United States. The food is always excellent and there is continuous entertainment throughout the 2-day event. Call St. George Leisure Services at 634-5850.

LIONS DIXIE ROUND-UP
September 16-18th Sun Bowl, St. George Join the Lions Club for the annual rodeo celebration. Approved by the Professional Cowboy’s Association, this wild weekend extravaganza is great entertainment for all rodeo fans! Beauty Parade: Thursday 16,5:00 pm, Children’s Parade: Friday 17,5:00, General Parade: Saturday 18,5:00 pm. Rodeo: 8:00 – 10:30 nightly. JUBILEE OF TREES
November 16-20’ Dixie Center• 1835 Convention Center Drive. Tour through a winter wonderland of twinkling lights and festive holiday embellishments during the Jubilee of Trees celebration. Festivities include uniquely decorated Christmas Trees, the Teddy Bear picnic, fashion show and luncheon, live entertainment and great food, a Gala Dinner and Auction, and a benefit for the foundation of Dixie Regional Medical (enter. Swiss Days Festival & Celebration
Usually taking place on the last weekend in September, the City of Santa Clara Utah invites you to join the Swiss Days festival and celebration. Santa Clara’s Annual Swiss Days Celebration is truly a home-town celebration full of history and fun! Santa Clara celebrated its first Swiss Days in 1990 in tribute to the town’s pioneer heritage.

WASHINGTON COUNTY FAIR
August • Washington County Fair Park
The annual Washington County Fair features carnival rides and games, festive food, award-winning fruit crops and exhibits. Join the entire county from Wed. to Sat., on the Fair Grounds. For more information, call 634-5700.

ST. GEORGE UTAH MARATHON
October in St. George Utah. The St. George Marathon, the largest in the Intermountain West, is a point-to-point race starting in the majestic Pine Valley Mountains. The course descends into beautiful desert territory past the stunning red cliffs of Snow Canyon State Park and finishes at Worthen Park in St. George. The marathon takes pride in its organization, beautiful surroundings, community support and massive volunteer force. FOLK ART AND CRAFTERS MARKET
Easter Weekend, St. George. The 6th Annual Folk
Art and Crafters Market will be held at the Dixie Center. The doors open from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. The 2000 Market featured around 100 artisans

PARADE OF HOMES
