St. George, Utah and the surrounding area are a nature lovers wonderland of adventure and beauty . We have something or someplace for everyone.
Nestled in a pristine desert valley surrounded by cliffs of Navajo sandstone, ancient lava flows and Jurassic sand dunes, lies the city of St. George, Utah.
Here in the southwestern corner of Utah we have Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Kolob Canyon, Snow Canyon and many other natural wonders of nature all within a short distance from St. George, Utah.

This coming Easter weekend is a great time to visit Zion National Park and celebrate Earth Day on Saturday in Springdale Utah.
A few times a year Zion National Park has Fee Free days for all to come and enjoy. Here is a list of the 2014 fee free days for Zion National Park.
The Park Service will offer the following fee free days in 2014. All park entrance fees will be waived on these dates;
January 20 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day
February 15-17 – President’s Day Weekend
April 19-20 – Weekend of National Park Week
August 25 – National Park Service Day
September 27 – National Public Lands Day
November 11 – Veterans Day
The shuttles are running now. Check the web site for current schedule. You can park in town and ride shuttles to the visitors center. The Springdale Shuttle stops at nine locations in Springdale. The Zion Canyon Shuttle stops at nine locations in the park. The transfer between loops is made at the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. You may get on and off as often as you like. Riding the shuttle is free.

Zion Canyon 10th Annual Earth Day Celebration Saturday, April 19, 2014
The town of Springdale in cooperation with Zion National Park will celebrate the 10th Annual Zion Canyon Earth Day in Springdale on Saturday April 19th, 2014.
Live solar powdered music will be accompanied by art and food vendors, activities and demonstrations about, alternative energy, native plants, “Leave No Trace” principles taught by the Leave No Trace traveling trainers, solar oven demonstrations, environmental art and sustainable products. Kids can participate in games and a reading of Dr. Suess’ “The Lorax”.
The event, including a silent auction, and beer & wine garden, takes place on the lawn of the Bit & Spur Restaurant at 1212 Zion Park Boulevard from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
